It was a tough day out for our Fremantle - 1s, who were unable to stop Subiaco-Floreat - 1s at Stevens West.
The boys batted first and reached 7/210 from 47 overs. Fifty for Bayley Holman, who finished with 80 off 112 balls. Kaiden Cookson's 58 off 90 balls was a half-century to remember.
In reply, Subiaco-Floreat - 1s passed our total, finishing on 5/211 in 44.2 overs. Guy Taylor made a stylish 71 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Geremy Fatouros made a quality 70 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Kian Doyle was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 47 off eight overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
