It was a day to forget for our Fremantle - 2s, who had to give best to Claremont-Nedlands - 2s on a frustrating day.
First up, we made 86 from 33.3 overs. Keith Munasinghe was the pick of our batters with 27 off 44 balls. Claremont-Nedlands - 2s' best with the ball was Ben Gregory (four for 19). Jackson Edmondstone took three for 11 for the visitors.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 1/91 in 14.1 overs. The visitors' best was a half-century from Edmondstone, who made 51 not out.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
