In 1. Senior Male, our Fremantle - 2s were downed by Mount Lawley - 2s in a disappointing result.
First up, we made 150 from 39.5 overs. Bayley Holman top-scored, making 42 off 73 balls. Mount Lawley - 2s' Tarun Jessani was the standout with the ball, taking five for 40.
In reply, the visitors passed our total, finishing on 3/153 in 29.3 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Tyler Scroop, who made 72 not out.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. That's six losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
