Despite a solid effort, our Fremantle - 2s couldn't get past University - 2s in 1. Senior Male action.
University - 2s made 5/285, and we made 10/282. Take a bow, Jarryd Mcphee: a brilliant 105 off 122 balls with nine fours and three sixes. Sam Harding's 79 off 157 balls was a half-century to remember. A five-wicket haul to Arnav Pimple for the visitors (five for 24). David Aldridge finished with three for 69 for our opponents.
Harding grabbed three for 63. Vicario Gracias also took two for 42. A century to Damien Sweet for the visitors: 168 not out. Alexander Melville helped our opponents with 40.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
