Playing at home, our Fremantle - 3s were held off by Melville - 3s on a tough day.
Batting first, Melville - 3s posted 7/234 from 45 overs. Credit to Khilesh Mamtani, who made a century (118) for our opponents. Jack Richards was the pick of our bowlers with two for 50.
In reply, the team were all out for 124 in 38.5 overs. The top score came from Seb Cardaci, who made 45 off 76 balls. Albert Penter provided good support with 32. Griffen Collins returned three for 31 for the visitors.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from. That's four losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
