Our Fremantle - 3s came unstuck as they were beaten by Wanneroo - 3s in a disappointing result.
Wanneroo - 3s made 10/162, and we made 10/105 and 10/51. Jared Day top-scored with 27 off 83 balls. Credit to Cody Billington, who claimed a six-wicket haul (six for 30) for our opponents.
Alex Xiao claimed an excellent six-wicket haul, finishing with six for 58. Kade Wack added two for 26. Jack Mcdonald held the visitors' innings together with 34. Donavinn Fryer made a useful 33 for our opponents.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. Chins up, everyone.
