It was a day to regroup for our Fremantle - 1s, who were beaten by University - 1s in a disappointing result.
With the bat, we made 10/185; University - 1s made 5/192. Bayley Holman passed fifty on the way to 64 off 87 balls with ten fours. There were also handy runs from Kaiden Cookson (40). The hosts' best with the ball was Jay Chislett (four for 37). Joshua Vernon picked up four for 56 for our opponents.
Jacob Headland picked up two for 21 off 23 overs. Claus Lotter held the hosts' innings together with 47.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. That's three losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
We'll go again.
