Our Fremantle - 3s had to settle for a loss as they were unable to get the better of Melville - 3s away from home on Saturday.
Melville - 3s' innings ended at 5/140, ours at 10/139. Lucas Johns led the way with 28 off 75 balls with two fours. Jared Day weighed in with 20 off 74 balls. A five-wicket haul to Griffen Collins for our opponents (five for 22). Callum Herbert weighed in with three for 46 for the hosts.
Keith Munasinghe picked up two for 16 off eight overs. Hamish Wardell-Johnson passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 54 not out. Shannon Lee chipped in with 32 for the hosts.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. That's three losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
